Standard installation is provided with new connection. Standard installation includes Set Top Box, Antenna and 10 meter of cable. Standard cable length is 10 meter, any cable usage beyond 10 metres will be charged at Rs.12 per meter by the authorized engineer, which needs to be paid by Subscriber, at the time of installation, on actual length of the cable. Any additional component like window bracket, jointers, and connectors will be on chargeable basis. If concealed cable required, Subscriber has to arrange the same with help of his electrician.
Installation will be done within 24 hours from the date of booking / realization of payment whichever is later. Dish TV India Limited is not liable for any delay in installation and activation of the Product due to unforeseen circumstances.
HD Add-on will continue post completion of respective offers. Subscriber has to manually disconnect the same after by calling our Subscriber care at 91156 91156 . However, if Subscriber wishes to continue watching HD Channels, he has to recharge his Subscriber ID with respective HD Add-on charges along with channel package cost.
4K - For New Subscribers, subscription to Platinum HD/ New South Platinum HD pack is mandatory for activation of the 4K Ultra HD STB. In addition to 4K channel(s)/ content, Subscribers can continue to use the Product to view the Standard Definition and High Definition channels.
Unlimited recording implies that Subscriber can use multiple external storage devices like USB / External Hard disk to create his own library. The price includes the cost of HD Set top box hardware capable of recording. Some channels / features / prices /services can be added / deleted/ modified without any prior notice. Subscriber needs to activate the recording facility with monthly subscription cost of Rs 30 per month.
Subscriber needs to purchase the external storage devices for storing the recorded content. All per month entry offers (pm or / month) corresponds to 30 days only & accordingly, long term entry offers corresponds as follows 5 years duration is equal to 1800 days, 24 months duration is equal to 720 days, 12 Months (Annual) duration is equal to 360 days, 6 Months (semi-annual) duration is equal to 180 days & 3 Months duration is equal to 90 days
In case of Force Majeure the channels / services / features / multiple audio feeds / packages / prices can be added or removed or modified without any prior notice. The Company shall at its sole discretion have the right of removal and/or modification of any channels or packages with advance notice as per applicable regulations. The Company shall not be responsible or liable for disconnection / removal / unavailability of any channel/s on its platform if the channel/s is/are not made available from the Broadcaster's end.

These terms and conditions are in addition to the terms and conditions in the SAF and in the event of any inconsistencies between the two, the terms of the SAF shall be binding. These terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of any other provision of the SAF. Terms used herein but not defined shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in SAF. The terms and conditions are subject to change without prior intimation.
By availing for this Product, it shall be construed that the Subscriber has read, understood, accepted and agreed to abide with all the terms and condition stated hereunder.
Refund and cancellation
Termination of the agreement under SAF, if any cancellation is done, the following conditions need to be reviewed for the purpose of hardware amount refund.
- Return of SPE is must on the part of the Subscriber: Hardware including Set-Top Box and ODU should be in good and useable condition (fair wear and tear excepted) to be collected.
- If Subscriber is not returning the Hardware, or the hardware is in damage / not usable condition the Company would charge the market price of the respective SPE plus applicable taxes.
- The Company will charge Service charges of Rs 300 + Applicable Taxes to be debited for inspection and collection of Set-Top Box and ODU
- Depreciation towards the Hardware will be applicable in case when Subscriber is agreeing to return the SPE in working condition. The refund on hardware will be as per the usage period of SPE. Minimum of 6 months access / connect charges will be recovered even if the Subscriber has used the product for less than 6 months.
- Billing will be done from Mumbai only. The applicable GST i.e. CGST/SGST for within state Subscribers and IGST for out of state Subscribers will be levied in the invoice.
- The respective agency (DSC/SF as per consumer Pin Code) to which Work Order (WO) is assigned, who in turn will assign the same to the Engineer.
- The Engineer will contact the Subscriber for his appointment for installation of d2h product & will carry the Box and all the SPE material to the Subscriber address as per appointment provided by the Subscriber and install & Activate the d2h product.
- On installation, standard material consumption will take place and Charges for any additional material used above standard limit at the Subscriber location will be collected directly by the engineer from Subscriber. Standard Installation will include cable length upto 10 metres and will be charged at Rs 12 per metre above that.
- Upon installation of the product, the WO will get completed and closed by the respective agency.

a. RETURN : Product could be returned by customer before sending the SMS for Activation of Set Top Box..
b. DOA (Dead on Arrival) : In case of DOA, Product would be eligible for new STB replacement within the applicable DOA window of 45 Days from date of activation; if customer received the product in a condition which is physically damaged or liquid damage, has missing parts or accessories, defective or different from their description on the product detail page on our website www.d2h.com .
If customer reports a DOA issue with the product after opening its package or after using the product, a technician visit to customer’s location needs to be scheduled.
Customer could schedule the technician visit by placing a request with us through our Customer Care. The resolution will be provided based on the technician's evaluation report.
A DOA would be processed only if:
- It is determined that the product was not damaged while in customer’s possession;
- The product being returned is not different from what was shipped to customer;
- The product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer's box, MRP tag intact, user manual, warranty card and all the accessories therein).
e. Please note : Products would not be eligible for a replacement under DOA in some cases, including cases of buyer's remorse such as misunderstanding of product or colour of product ordered or quality expectations etc.
